Farley Riggs was founded in 2004, and to this day remains proudly Australian family owned and operated. Originally established as a Drill Stem Testing (DST) organisation, we later evolved to include a widened focus on surface well testing, fracture stimulation flowback and support equipment supply.

The mid 2000’s saw significant growth for Farley Riggs, with the team growing in excess of 100 persons and establishing a presence in the international market. This aligned with a dramatic increase in inventory holdings, alongside exclusive distributor deals with companies such as Red Deer Ironworks (RDI), ensuring industry best supply chain and client support. Farley Riggs’ distributorship with RDI remains in place today, and is integral in our ability to deliver best in field products and services.

The industry wide downturn that followed signalled further structural shifts in the business. Key in this was an exit from operations, and a consolidated focus on equipment supply to operators and service companies.

Today, under the stewardship of second generation Edward Riggs, Farley Riggs offers a full suite of equipment rental and product supply. We remain Australia’s only well testing specific equipment supply business, with an extensive fleet of over 5,000 assets covering full operations and supplementary support equipment. Our industry experience is founded on years as equipment operators, giving an appreciation for intricate requirements and the knowledge supply chain to deliver.
